We wanted to share some bits for our characters. As we create new characters, or get new artwork, we will be updating our page. Spoilers will be avoided as much as possible.
Captain Jason Singer
The captain of the Waylay. With a military background, appreciates structure. However, he values his crew and their opinions.
Elliot Singer
A cybernetically enhanced individual, trying to start a new life away from the organization that experimented on her.
Aria Forge
Growing up on a space station that circles the world of Anastasis impacted every aspect of her life. Cogworks shuns AI due to the error that made their world uninhabitable. The mechanical drives life there. As one of a large family, Aria never expected to leave. But, life happens and she had to make a new life. She now enjoys the position of weapons tech aboard the Waylay,
Gabriel Carter
Growing up in a large, extended family that worked mining on the world of Halcyon, he learned how to cook for a variety of tastes. When he had to leave, he felt fortunate to meet Jason, who offered him the post of cook aboard the Waylay.
Mark Driver
Being from the ocean world of Aegir, he always expected to find work off-world. He worked hard to become a starship engineer. Now he enjoys working on his “girl,” the Waylay.
Willow Lynn
Willow is one of two survivors of an illness on the world of Talia. The only reasons for their survival is because of issues taking the medication that was supposed to help. She wants to discover the causes behind the tragedy.
Bree Reiter
Being from a poor section of the planet of Fell, Bree takes the risk to stow away. She had lived in a “Haven,” or orphanage. She has a longing for belonging and a fear that she doesn’t know who she is.
Natasha Hastings
Running away from a life that she has no control of is the first decision she has ever made. She has a destination in mind, but the resulting adventure is beyond what she expected.
Kendric
Being a Hybrid that was born a slave, he has had some extremely difficult experiences. He does feel fortunate to have the support of his brother and friends. He now strives to make other people’s lives better.
Damian
He is glad he was able to protect his brother, Kendric, as much as possible. Unfortunately, he had no such protection. Struggling to trust people is reinforced every time he sees his scars.
